Description

These delightful collage pendants are made with using vintage paper and illustrations from textbooks, children's books, nature guides, even classroom notes. The pendants are preserved using a coat of glossy resin. Each necklace is strung on a handmade chain, adorned vintage lucite beads from the 40s, 50s and 60s and blackened steel wire finished with a handmade clasp. Did you know that steel wears surprisingly well? As you wear it, the oils in your skin provide a protective coating to the metal which helps to prevent rust (but don't wear it in the shower!) Please note that each piece is totally unique and will vary slightly due to its handmade nature and its use of vintage materials. Approximately 18 inches long.

The Succulent Wife loves... the original combination of materials used Foundling's designs. The vintage collage pendant is a true "retro-cool" piece. The glass beads make this dressy enough to wear out, but the simplicity of the necklace also makes it a great accessory to add to the tank top and flip flop attire. It falls just below the collar bone, so it would also add a little funk to a classic white shirt.
