Avon’s ANEW Dermabrasion System. It Works!

12 February 2009 2 Comments

This product has been on the market for some time now, so I’m not telling you about anything new. But it’s new to me, since I’ve only started using the ANEW Clinical Advanced Dermabrasion System thisanew-clinical-dermabrasion last November. I went to a holiday home shopping party and walked away with this “gift” for myself. And, with all the positive comments that I’ve received, I thought that it was worth sharing. Well, actually the particular convincing comment was the one at the self-checkout counter the other day. I was running all my grocery items through the scanner when the system alerted the attendant that she needed to approve the purchase of a bottle of wine. I thought that she would simply punch in her code and be on her way, but no! She asked for my ID! “Haha! Funny”. “No, really, if you look under 35, I need to ask you for your ID”. Bad judge of age? Perhaps. Still, bless her little heart, she was only 10 years off… in the worst case scenario.

So, the only thing that had changed in my “beauty routine” (it’s expedient and can hardly be called a routine) was that I had started using the ANEW Dermabrasion System. And, not to get too personal here, but the blackheads around my nose almost vanished and the skin appeared to be smoother all over.

anew-clinical-dermabrasion-dialThe dial system, which is sort of fun to use, works like this: Start at Level 1, which dispense only one type of dermabrasion product. Use that on wet skin about 2 to 3 times per week for two weeks. Then move on the Level 2, which dispense mix of product from both tubes. Same thing for Level 3 and 4, with the level of sloughing product increasing as you dial your way up.

Unless you are having serious senior moments, the only difficult thing about this system is remembering which week you are on. I’m sure that we can all cope with that.

If you don’t already have an Avon lady, I have the sweetest one around. Her name is Liz Young and she can ship anywhere in the US. Here’s her Avon website.

Let me know if you use this and how it’s working for you.

Great post, thanks for the review. I was wondering about this system myself.
