Aren’t we the lucky ones! Following our article about their unique bamboo charcoal product line, the folks at C60 Bamboo have offered this wonderful panoply of bamboo charcoal products for one lucky winner to try.

The whole loot is valued at about $60. Plus you’ll love to know that the bamboo charcoal stalks will last for at least one whole year while the decorative air freshener box will last 6 months and will perform well no matter what environment you put it in (fridge, closet, etc…).

I’ve just tried the bamboo charcoal soap. Wonderful!!! The black soap and suds are interesting enough in themselves, but to know that bamboo charcoal is also a natural exfoliant and that it can absorb minerals, toxins, impurities, and other harmful substances from your skin… Priceless.

To enter this giveaway, all you need to do is post a comment to this blog article to let us know how you would use the bamboo charcoal air fresheners. Visit this page to get some ideas. Your comment qualifies as your entry. A winner will be chosen at random using a random integer generator. You must leave your full name and email address so we can contact you if you’re the lucky winner. The contest is open until March 27 at 11:59am (noon) PST. Your information is confidential and used for this giveaway only. Multiple entries will be deleted. Valid in US or Canada.

Hi – this product sounds very interesting. I would put stalks in a vase to deal with air quality in my house and I also love the idea of putting some in the fridge instead of baking soda!
      Thanks!

Fantastic products! I would love to try them.

I would put the sticks, (well, I’d split them up) and put a couple in the deep freezer, my fridge, in the bathroom ( I have an extra place for a toothbrush, that should work) and then of course in the fridge and lastly, in my teenager’s closet!

      Thanks

This bamboo product is very new to me! I have many “go green” friends and would love to turn them on to something wonderful!

    4. Mary Jenkins on 21 March 2009 at 7:41 am

I’d split them up as well, and tie them into little bundles with rafia, and lay them on clay dishes throughtout my stinky apartment. Love the look!

    5. kathleen on 21 March 2009 at 8:08 am

these would be great for all over the house…including the stinky basement

    6. Ellie Blunt on 21 March 2009 at 8:59 am

How unique! I have recently been told that my allergies are affecting my eye site (contacts do not fit properly). I am trying to create a new lifestyle and think the bamboo air freshener might be just the thing. It looks more allergy friendly than traditional air fresheners. I would use it in the kitchen and also in the bathroom that seems to be be the cat’s litter box area (hence an allergy area for me).

    7. Carolyn G on 21 March 2009 at 9:03 am

I would use these in the cat’s litterbox. We have a hideaway litter box like a table and these would be great to place in there to absord the stinkiness.

    8. Beth on 21 March 2009 at 6:44 pm

I would use some in the bathrooms and closets – how great to have the closets smelling yummy!

    9. Elaine R on 21 March 2009 at 6:44 pm

I am doing some redecorating and painting so this product would be great around the paint smells.

    10. Michelle on 21 March 2009 at 7:26 pm

I would put some in a decorative basket and put in our spare bathroom (we put our cat’s litter box in the cabinet, the cabinet door has a kitty door on it) so that it will cover up any kitty litter odors, if there is any

    11. Starla Petersen on 21 March 2009 at 8:14 pm

oh this would be perfect for both near my cat’s litter box and my dog’s litter box. yes, i litter trained my dog. :)

    12. debby long on 21 March 2009 at 9:21 pm

i have never heard of this stuff, sounds amazing, i would use it in the bath.
Bamboo Charcoal can also act as a natural exfoliant to remove dead skin cells

    13. DEBIJOT on 21 March 2009 at 10:02 pm

I would place these in various places throughout my home. This is a great item. Thanks

    14. Amy B. on 21 March 2009 at 11:15 pm

I would put them on the dresser in my daughters room to help with her ferrets smell. Even though it is supposed to be descented (according to petland) it still has a strong odor when it sprays. Thanks for the chance.

    15. Elizabeth on 22 March 2009 at 2:00 pm

I would use these in my kitchen – we had a small fire last week, and it could really use some fresh scents!

    16. melissa on 22 March 2009 at 5:49 pm

I would love to try this product in my daughter’s bedroom next to her diaper pail. Hopefully it will help with the odor that sometimes comes around because of it.

    17. Christie on 22 March 2009 at 6:51 pm

I would put it in a vase in high traffic areas to deodorize the air.

    18. carol on 22 March 2009 at 8:28 pm

I would put this near my as my dog lays at my feet and he..has…problems. Maybe it would help the air quality!
      This soap sounds interesting!

    19. The Succulent Wife on 22 March 2009 at 8:35 pm

Funny! Maybe tying one of the bamboo charcoal stalks around his dog collar? Or you could fashion a pair of earrings or necklace to wear??!?!?!? Ok, maybe not.
      Good luck!

    20. TheDreamer on 23 March 2009 at 6:17 am

      I’d totally use this tip:

Keep your fruits and vegetables fresh longer by placing them in a bag with a few stalks of Borim Bamboo Charcoal. The Bamboo Charcoal will absorb the ethylene gases released by the fruits and vegetables as they ripen, allowing them to stay fresh longer.

    21. Maria on 23 March 2009 at 9:00 am

I’d put them in the kitchen! :)

    22. Wehaf on 23 March 2009 at 11:11 am

I would split the stalks up, and use some in the bathroom and some near the dog’s bed.

    23. ikkinlala on 23 March 2009 at 7:59 pm

I’d put them in the basement – we don’t have radon (luckily), but we do have hockey gear.

    24. Donna K on 23 March 2009 at 11:23 pm

I would put one in each area that attracts malodors such as near the garbage.

    25. Kim on 24 March 2009 at 6:34 am

I featured this product on my site I thought it was so fantastic! I’d love to sample one myself.

    26. jaime on 25 March 2009 at 12:34 am

seeing as how i have three dogs (a pitbull and two chihuahax) and three cats, im constantly spraying and deodorizing my house! i could soooo use this!!!

    27. Christine on 25 March 2009 at 9:59 am

I think they would be great. Especially in my kid’s rooms.

    28. Marissa on 25 March 2009 at 10:03 am

SO exciting! I would love to try these out to see if they would help with my mold allergies. I have been having to take benedryl every night for the past month because I was waking up every night at 4 or 5 am with my nose running everywhere. It only happens INSIDE. I can breathe easily outside. So I assume it is mold. I am just really curious to see if I could get off meds once the charcoal cleans the air!

    29. Julie on 25 March 2009 at 10:54 am

I’d put it in a vase on our breakfast bar to help clear the air in our main living area. With my husband having asthma and both of us having allergies, I’m curious to see how it would help!!

    30. Jennifer on 25 March 2009 at 2:12 pm

I would stick them throughout my cellar and attic. We lost our home to a fire 2 years ago but insurance made us keep the frame. We did the best we could but sometimes you can still get the effects from it when it gets hot in those 2 areas!

    31. Lisa on 25 March 2009 at 6:49 pm

What a fascinating product! With two kids and a dog (not to mention a husband), I have random smells that just pop up around the house. I’d place these in a few cute containers I’ve picked up from some local shops to suck up those random smells before they hit my nose. What great conversation starters as well! Thanks!

    32. Marna on 26 March 2009 at 7:19 am

With 2 of my own insanely sheddy dogs and 1 or 2 foster dogs at any given time who spend about 9 hours a day playing & sleeping outside in an area called the Holland Marsh and a house the size of a standard 1 car garage, you can only imagine how much these bamboo charcoal stalks would help!

    33. Jackie B. on 26 March 2009 at 12:02 pm

Wow! This sounds like a fantastic product. I would love to try it. I would put them everywhere in my house from fridge to closets to displaying them in a vase in the living room and bathroom.

    34. Rebecca C on 26 March 2009 at 9:43 pm

I would keep them in my refridgerator and my 2 deep freezes.

    35. The Succulent Wife on 27 March 2009 at 2:19 pm

Congratulations Jill! You are this giveaway’s winner. You’ll need to let us know how these worked for you!

    36. Jill on 29 April 2009 at 8:23 am

I love my bamboo charcoal products! I put one of the air fresheners in Sean’s room, a teenage boys room, and it worked wonders! I am very allergic and hate cover-up fragrance products! These are all natural, get rid of odor and no cover-up smell. I love the soap too! Very happy! I would buy again to replace and recommend to friends.
