We introduced BuyGreen.com the other day through this article. Today, they are proposing a $25 gift certificate that we will give away on April 22, Earth Day.
BuyGreen.com is a small company, making a difference by providing consumers and businesses with the best green alternatives in a full spectrum of everyday use products. They practice what they preach by maximizing sustainable practices throughout their office. Here is part of the team in front of their “box catcher” contraption. This holds all the used boxes (many donated) that BuyGreen proudly reuses when fulfilling their orders. They certainly walk it like they talk it!
To enter this contest: visit the BuyGreen.com website and post a quick comment to this article to let us know what you would spend your certificate on. Personally, I would be stocking up on waste bags, Scrubbies and the Epic cleaning products. As usual, it’s one entry per person. The winner will be chosen at random using a random integer generator. I’d get some o these: Journals with Agricultural Content
I’m setting up my home office right now so I went straight to the office supplies section and fell in love with the journals with agricultural content… Banana Paper and Mango Paper journals are at the top of my list!
I’d get the Pencil Holder and the O’Bon Pencils
I would get a set of Hao folding bowls. They’re marvelous!
I found several things that look great! (1) GlassDharma Drinking Straws, (2) Hemp Oven Mit, (3) Twist Ravioli Scrubby, and (4) Notebooks “Plant Series”… Looks like a great store!
i would definitely get some of the twist products. i love a clean house, and i ESPECIALLY love a clean green house! thank you so much for existing! such a smart way to get people to look at your products, too. very impressed.
i’m also giving the eye to the sleep systems and the feng shui mirrors!

I would spend the $$ on office recycling bins to scatter in throughout our office to encourage more recycling (since our admins/managers don’t)

I’d love to get some of the EPIC cleaning products, like the Save the Seas kit.
I would get the Home Cleaning Starter Kit in Lavender and another cleaner, such as the Kitchen Cleaner as well, since that is something I would use alot of in the household.

I would put it towards some of their great clothes. They look so comfy.
I would use the gift certificate to buy things I use everyday– dish soap, garbage bags, cleaning products. If I can make my daily life greener, I know I can make a difference!

I’d buy a couple of Chico bags for my purse and for my husband’s messenger bag.

I would get some Glass Dharma Drinking straws to replace the TONS of straws we use around here!
I’d buy the Solar Hybrid Flashlight, glad they say it actually works! Looks very good quality. We have land in Michigan & camp often. A lot of batteries do get used (we dispose of them properly, btw) & not only would I love to use the sun in place of these batteries, I’d love to save the money too! Would be an awesome item to have for this upcoming camping season.
