Clever Find – Must-Be-Neat Laundry Organizer
By Anne-Marie Kovacs, Chief Wife
It’s back to school and back to the grind. And laundry is serious grind. A never-ending, repetitive grind that will never go away. But thanks to Kristen and Kari at Must-Be-Neat, the mundane chore gets a little more organized.
The Must-Be-Neat laundry organizer is a cotton twill bag that can be used on its own or to line a laundry basket (fits most standard laundry baskets). The organizer has built-in dividers that can be used to sort the dirty laundry before the wash and afterwards to organize laundered items by room, by family member or by purpose. The Must-Be-Neat keeps everything organized so that the whole process of putting the laundry away can become more efficient. And, less repetitive as folded items will likely remain… folded.
The mesh cover can be used to close up the basket to allow carrying it with just one hand or to prevent any overflowing folded laundry from tumbling out (you know, like when you’re carrying the basket up the stairs and the folded socks invariably find a way to roll out …). This also works well to keep everything secure for trips to-and-from the laundromat. Great for urban dwellers and college students.
Kristen, a stay-at-home mom of three, thought up the Must-Be-Neat as a solution to her frustration with the laundry process. She enlisted her friend Kari to prototype, test and market the product. When you take into account the fact that the average family has about 400 loads of laundry a year, you would think that there would be a way to make this daily/weekly/permanent task a little more efficient? Well, now there is. Thanks ladies.
