It’s a very clever and oh-so-simple reminder service. Jott.com. Get it? As in Jot it Down? And it’s absolutely free. Here’s how it works: you call the provided 800 number. You leave yourself a message. The message is automatically transcribed in text and then delivered to your email inbox. You can Jott to yourself or to anyone else in your group.

Imagine how useful this is. If you’re like me, you are invariably thinking about your crucial To Do List item and your latest genius idea when you are nowhere near your computer or calendar or notepad. I have been using Jott.com a lot now and have put my husband and kids on it as well. It is also particularly useful to get your whole team updated on a particular subject all at once. Kinda like an email CC list for your phone.
