lululemon athletica in Las Vegas!

30 September 2007 One Comment

I’m thrilled to have hosted one of the first lululemon events in Las Vegas. It happened in the form of a “kitchen party” – aka a home shopping party – held in my very own…kitchen. Sue and Heather, the lovely and gracious lululemon representatives in Las Vegas brought in delicious munchies from Whole Foods and ordered lululemon clothing for our guests to try on. This party served as an event to raise brand awareness before the store opens in a couple of months.

I think that everyone in attendance bought something…

Most were new to the brand and completely won over by the fit and the quality. The Wrap and the Whisper tank tops were best-sellers as were the Reverse Groove Pant, which almost miraculously, fit wonderfully
well on any body type.

My latest and greatest discovery about the brand is their unwavering determination to be active – and to be a great resource – in their community. I sort of knew about this but not realize the extent of this
commitment until I got to know Sue and Heather and to hear of some of their endeavors in town. All good stuff that only makes the brand more remarkable.

For your own curiosity, take a look at their manifesto here. And download the PDF to this fabulous goal
setting chart here.
I can’t wait for the store to open in December.

I love Lululemon, and I was just in the Lululemon store in Las Vegas. Finally was able to take their Sunday yoga class, which was heaps of fun, followed by the unavoidable shopping and excellent service from the fun staff. Fabulous store no matter where I visit them. Wish they had one near where I live. Oh well, excuses to travel :) !
Great website here and congrats on your first event!
