Sun & Earth Natural Cleaning Products

23 April 2010 One Comment

I kSun & Earth logonow. Earth Day this, Earth Day that. Are we done yet? Unfortunately, I’m still in on the subject and am determined on fitting in one more Green, Earth-Friendly product line before the end of the week. Because I looooove it: the Sun & Earth brand of  home cleaning products. I first learned of this company through Alice.com, my now go-to source for all household product shopping. I was looking for alternatives to the usual natural cleaning product and the Sun & Earth brand popped up so I gave it a try, first with the fabric softener. I was so satisfied that I then tried the laundry detergent and then, the dish soap. The all-purpose cleaner is next on the list (looks like I don’t like to rush into things, huh? But really, it’s that I now refuse to accumulate anything since I’ve set and actually follow my rules for stuff . So, I only buy replacement product when I am running low. I’m not out of all-purpose cleaner yet, so… ).

Sun & Earth productsWhere, in the past, I have been less than enthused by effectiveness of natural/earth-friendly cleaning products, I am actually thrilled with the Sun & Earth brand. The cost of these natural cleaning products is just about the same as the regular megabrands products. The Sun & Earth fabric softener actually leaves fabrics… soft, really soft. The detergent is doing its job splendidly and doesn’t leave soap residue on darks, as it happens to me so often with other brands. As for the dish soap, the product does not vanish in seconds from the sponge as it does with other natural dish soap brands.

I haven’t seen the Sun & Earth brand in grocery stores near me, but since I always place my orders on Alice.com (great prices and no shipping when you buy 6 items), I may not have been looking hard enough. In any case, you can also order on Alice or visit the Sun & Earth website, where they also have great value packs.

Our Commitment to You after many years of watching advertisements claiming that petro-chemicals with mysterious names were the best way to clean house, we set out to prove that non-toxic cleaners can clean as well or better than more well-known national brands. We knew people wanted products made with non-toxic ingredients that didn’t sacrifice performance. After extensive research, we developed cleaners made from coconut and orange oils that clean and shine beautifully and have an appealing fresh citrus scent.

Now, you’ll love this brand too. Let us know if you’re already a fan!

I absolutely love Alice.com. I’ll have to check out Sun and Earth’s products next time I order. We’re not a fabric softener family but will try their laundry detergent. Thanks for introducing me to something new that is GREEN. We’re trying to go greener and are always looking for new products to try.
