Turkish Delights Now Available at Anthropologie

28 January 2009 3 Comments

Woohoo! I knew I had an eye! I proudly displayed the beautiful handmade jewelry acquired (and since given away as gifts) on a recent trip to Turkey in this article HERE.

Similar necklaces are now available at Anthropologie. At three times the price, bien sur, but at least you don’t have to pay for airfare. And, they are listed on their “Pow! Accessories” page, no less.

I’m taking it as a personal compliment.

My jaw is just on the floor. I can’t believe a few things….1. how pretty these pieces are, 2. how Anthropologie can charge so much for these, and 3. HOW EASY THESE WOULD BE FOR ME TO MAKE!

I’ve obviously been in a rut as far as my jewelry is concerned. Thanks so much for this post! I now have a gazillion other designs to explore! I won’t have artist’s block ever again!

Oh Yeah ~ I’m loving these necklaces! Beautiful colors and style ~ I want one of each! Anthropologie always has so much cool stuff ~ but usually a little pricey for me! Thanks for sharing!
