Websites That Create Christmas Magic

We haven’t even roasted the Thanksgiving turkey and we are already getting into full Christmas mode.  The lights might already be hung.  A Christmas tree might already be decorated.  Oh dear.  Shopping is being done over the internet and orders are being delivered.   So, while you are on your computer you have to check out these sites that will add to the magic of Christmas for your kids.

Santa in Your House:

Xmas I caught Santa

In the eyes of a little kid, can there be anything better than a cameo appearance by Santa in your house?   With Icaughtsanta.com, for $9.99 (cheaper than renting the suit) you can put Santa right in your living room.  It is as easy a 1-2-3.  Take a pic of your room with the tree all decorated.  Upload it to the website.  Pick a Santa (you can choose from Santas in various poses).  Then press print and voilà Santa is right there in your house.  So easy and your kids will be thrilled that you were able to catch Santa in the act.

The Original Letter from Santa:

Xmas The original letter from Santa Now, why not a letter from Santa. Yep, this is not just any old Santa, this one is the real deal from the North Pole.  That is North Pole, Alaska.  At SantaClausHouse.com , Don and Nellie Miller, that is Mr and Mrs Claus, moved to Alaska in 1949 and for over 50 years have been writing letters to boys and girls all around the world, all year round.  There are a variety of letters and gift packages combos to choose from starting at $9.95.  Plus if you ever find yourself in North Pole Alaska they would be happy if you came by and said hello.

Track Santa on Christmas Eve:

Xmas track Santa with Norad

And here is one of my absolute favs! NORADsanta.org is educational AND free!  Starting Dec 1st you can start tracking Santa all over the world. On December 24th, watch him and his eight reindeers travel around the globe. We tracked Santa last year and my girls know that when Santa gets close to our house, it’s time to go to bed (the best part of all!).  NORAD tracks Santa on Facebook too.

From my home to yours, I wish all a wonderful holiday season.  Merry Christmas.  Feliz Navidad.  Joyeux Noël. Frohe Weihnachten. Buon Natale.
